FIESTA® Lawn Weed Killer (Reg. No. 29535 P.C.P. Act)

Fiesta® hit the market in the spring of 2010, and could not have come at a better time. This innovative new product is an effective alternative to the traditional synthetic weed controls that have recently been banned in Ontario and other parts of North America. Fiesta® is made from iron, a naturally occurring element. Fiesta®’s mode of action is through iron toxicity (oxidative damage) at the cellular level. Shortly after being treated with Fiesta®, the weed will turn brown and black (tissue necrosis), ultimately causing the plant to die. Fiesta® is effective on nearly all common broadleaf weeds.

FIESTA® Natural. Effective. Visible results within 24 hrs!

Lawn Aeration

Aeration is essential for healthy turf growth and should be done at least once per season, depending on the soil type. Aeration contributes to lawn and soil health in many ways, and it is the interrelation of grass roots, soil, and organisms of bacteria and fungi that keep this living, dynamic system in a healthy balance.

Top reasons to aerate:

  • Control Thatch Layer Development
  • Reduce Insect & Disease Incidence
  • Relieves Soil Compaction
  • Reduce Summer Drought Damage
  • More Efficient Irrigation
  • Reduce the Incidence of Weeds
  • Stimulates New Root Development
  • Improves turf thickness, vigour, and overall health
  • Stimulates Biological Activity of Soil
Lawn Renovation – Heavy Aeration and Overseeding

Our Lawn Renovation process will ensure a thick, healthy lawn in just a few weeks. This process is ideal for lawns that have suffered insect or drought damage, or for sparse or patchy lawns. An attractive option for our customers, as not only does it deliver results, it is a fraction the cost of new sod installation!

The Process:

  1. Heavily aerate your lawn multiple times in different directions to prepare a proper seed bed – also delivers the essential benefits of aeration for the existing lawn.
  2. Generously seed your lawn with our premium Kentucky Bluegrass blend grass seed.
  3. Rake then lightly roll your lawn to smooth the surfaces and increase seed-soil contact.
  4. Apply starter fertilizer to ensure full seed germination.

All that is left to do is to water regularly and sit back and watch your new lawn grow!

*Essential that renovated lawns are on a disciplined watering schedule. It is essential that the new seed be kept moist during the germination process, and also that new seedlings receive adequate water in order to mature and establish a deep, healthy root system.*
